As one of the newest and fastest-growing anime convention in Canada, Anime Toronto is the destination of many die-hard anime fans every year. There, the magic of anime is celebrated while fans are immersed in an electrifying venue filled with different entertainment from the exhibition hall, photo booths, contents, live concerts, mascots, autograph sessions, and more.
Dedicated to sharing Japan’s amazing culture across Canada, Oomomo attended this year’s Anime Toronto Convention at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's North Building earlier this September! There we had the chance to connect with not only fans, but also renowned voice actors, anime creators, and industry professionals from Japan, and we were extremely grateful and excited to be able to hear their thoughts and experiences which really inspired us.
At the Oomomo booth, we showcased all kinds
of anime toys and products from our Hobby section such as Pokemon & Japan
themed nanoblocks, Gundam build kits, ONE PIECE ship build kits, and adorable
Sanrio, Rilakkuma & Sumikko Gurashi products. We also showcased our BT21
& TINYTAN merch from the world famous Kpop group BTS as well as other
fan-favourite Japanese goods.
To celebrate Oomomo’s first time at the convention, we also had a Doorcrasher event which gave fans exclusive deals on different items each day of the convention. Our Hello Kitty Gundam and Kirby Dreamland nanoblock were very popular while the My Melody cushions had their fair share of fans as well!
