This chawanmushi bowl is typically used for steamed savoury egg custard, but can also be used to serve simmered fish, meat and vegetable dishes. Simply serving your dishes in this bowl can elevate them and present them in a luxurious manner. Originally designed for steamed food, and comes with a lid. Comes in a traditional Japanese ten-grass blade design in slender strokes. Made in Japan.
